Principal

Founder and Principal of The Ballet Academy, Teacher Joyce is an RAD Certified Teacher with nearly two decades of teaching experience. Passionate about nurturing dancers of all ages, she also leads Silver Swans classes for mature learners. Beyond the studio, she’s a proud mum to her future ballerinas, Natalie and Eleora — and an unapologetic dark chocolate enthusiast.

Ballet Mistress

Lin Fong is a professional contemporary dancer who pursued her dance studies and performance career in Taiwan. She holds a degree in Dance and brings a wealth of experience in both classical ballet and contemporary movement. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she continues to dance and explore diverse styles such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tai Chi. Her vibrant energy — and love for milk tea and spicy food — shines through both in and out of the studio.

Ballet Mistress

A graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Wan Ling is a passionate dance educator who brings energy, care, and creativity to every class. She enjoys working with children and believes in creating a nurturing environment where students can learn, grow, and express themselves through movement. Her advice to dancers is simple: “Be safe, enjoy, and have fun!”

Ballet Instructor

She is a recipient of the prestigious RAD Solo Seal Award and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Performance Making at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). An award-winning dancer, she has received top prizes at international ballet competitions across Asia and Australia, and was a semi-finalist at The Fonteyn. Her performance experience spans local and international festivals, collaborative works, and professional intensives, reflecting a strong foundation in both classical ballet and contemporary performance practice.

Jessica

Ballet Instructor

Jessica is an award-winning ballet educator and a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award (IAF 2026). She has coached students to outstanding results at international competitions. Selected to attend the Royal Ballet School Inspire Course, Jessica is also a licensed Silver Swans teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, bringing thoughtful, age-appropriate and high-quality ballet training to dancers of all ages.

Ballet Instructor

Yee San holds a teaching certificate from CSTD and has more than ten years of experience teaching students of various age groups. Her lessons provide a positive and supportive learning environment for dancers. She finds joy in helping her students grow, improve and discover their own love for dance.

Ballet Mistress

Kimmy holds a Master’s Degree in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). With extensive experience teaching students of various ages in both Malaysia and Singapore, she is well-versed in the RAD syllabus and dedicated to a student-centred approach that nurtures both skill and character. Kimmy believes that teaching dance goes beyond technique — it’s about inspiring confidence, discipline, and joy in learning.

Ballet Instructor

Mia attained a Distinction in RAD Advanced 2 and was awarded a scholarship through the International Arts Festival competition for an apprenticeship with Ballet Manila during their 26th Performance Season (2024). Mia is currently a third-year student at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, bringing both athletic precision and artistic sensitivity into her teaching.

Aisling

Ballet Instructor

Aisling began her training in Classical Ballet and later expanded into Contemporary and Jazz. She holds a BA (Hons) in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance (UK). With over a decade of teaching experience, she is well-versed in both the RAD syllabus and Russian methodology, and has also completed multidisciplinary dance programmes with organisations such as Jitterbugs Swingapore. Having more than a decade of experience in teaching ballet for learners of all ages, Aisling is familiar with both the RAD and Russian methods.

Ballet Instructor

Jia Ying is a registered RAD teacher and is currently pursuing her RAD Advanced 1 certification. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Psychology and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Outside of dance, she actively cross trains in pilates. Jia Ying believes that dancing is not only about winning accolades and receiving recognition, but more about doing it for the pure love of the art form.

Liling is currently pursuing her dance studies at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). With a strong interest in both performance and pedagogy, she brings a thoughtful and committed approach to her teaching, focusing on building solid foundations, musicality, and confidence in her students.

School Manager

As the backbone of The Ballet Academy’s daily operations, Adelina oversees all administrative and logistical matters with precision and care. She manages class scheduling, teacher allocations, venue coordination, and overall administrative workflows to ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently. With her strong organisational skills and commitment to excellence, she supports both parents and teachers, making sure every detail,  from enrolment processes to studio arrangements is handled seamlessly.

Admin (Thomson)

Friendly, approachable, and loved by both kids and parents, Xinyi is the cheerful face of our Upper Thomson branch. She manages class check-ins, enquiries, enrolments, and day-to-day admin with efficiency and warmth. Her positive energy keeps the studio running smoothly and makes every family feel welcomed.

Admin (Toa Payoh)

Quiet, caring, and highly detail-oriented, Vny is the steady support behind our Toa Payoh branch. She handles scheduling, communication, and daily administrative tasks with calm professionalism. Her thoughtful, organised approach ensures our classes and operations run seamlessly for students, parents, and teachers.
